Class Description: Learn the skills of collage landscape art quilting with the bonus of adding a small photo fabric picture insert. You will amaze yourself at how easy it is to create a simple art quilt of a scene on the prairie. Pre-assembled kit contains all needed fabrics, stretched art canvas for mounting, and a copy of my book, Starter Guide to Creating Art Quilts. Awe your friends and family. Prepare to have fun, and it IS so much easier than it looks! 

Project size: 10"x10" Art Quilt

When: Thursday, June 12, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Skill level: Beginner

Pattern/Kit Fee: $60, which includes the book, Starter Guide to Creating Art Quilts

Supplies/Fabric:

•             Sewing machine (open-toe foot recommended)

•             Large glue stick, e.g., Craft Bond-Extra Strength

•             Tacky glue 

•             Scissors – small and sharp for fussy cutting

•             Erasable marker, e.g., Pilot Ball Frixion

•             Sewing gloves – optional

•             Small iron & board - optional

•             Thread
