Class Description: Traditionally made by hand with a needle and thread, the Cathedral Window is a classic but often intimidating pattern. Learn a speedy machine-sewing technique and pick up Deonn's best tips for achieving those elegant curves that define this project's style as we create a decorative pillow in class.

Project Size: 14 x 14 or 18 x 18 (more detailed)

When: Thursday, June 12 - 6:00 to 9:00 pm

Skill level: Beginner

Pattern/Kit Fee: $8

Supplies/Fabric Requirements:
Background: 1 yard for the small pillow, 1-1/4 yard for the large
Main Prints: 1/8 yard for the small pillow, 1/4 yard for the large
Accent (optional): 1/8 yard for the small pillow, 1/3 yard for large
Backing: 1/2 yard or two fat quarters in coordinating prints for the small pillow, 5/8 yard for the large.

16'' or 20" Pillow Form
Buttons: (5) 3/4" to 1" for the small pillow, (9) for the larger pillow.
Basic sewing kit, thread to match background fabric, point-turner or chopstick.
Sewing machine, thread to match background, basic sewing kit including pins, needle, and a GLUE STICK.

Helpful tool: stiletto or seam ripper to hold window panes in place.
