Class Description: Make a cute zippered case to carry and store your Oliso mini iron, or other small iron. This versatile bag can be used for jewelry and other accessories as well. We’ll give you two options for handle placement as well as tips on zippers and binding.

Dave’s Bernina will furnish machines along with all feet and machine needles needed.

Project size: 9 1/2’’ wide (24cm) wide x 5 1/2’’(14cm) high x 4 1/2’’ (11.5cm) deep

When: Saturday, June 14 - 8:30 to 11:30 am

Skill level: Intermediate

Pattern/Kit Fee: Pattern $10

Supplies/Fabric Requirements:
Receive a 20% discount at @Dave’s Bernina for supplies

Pattern
Fabrics according to pattern
Personal ironing station (iron and starch)
Aurifil cream or light gray threads
Small ruler for marking
Marking pen (frixion)
Small cutting station ( Mat and Rotary Cutter)
BSK (pins, seam ripper, etc...)
Mini iron/station, there is a lot of ironing
Best press
Clappers work great for these blocks if you have one or I will be showing them in class.

Instructor bio:

Kim McCloskey teaches sewing, quilting and embroidery at Dave’s Bernina in Provo. She is an award winning quilter who loves reading to her grandkids, watching movies with her sweetheart, travel, and listening to podcasts while she sews.
